Nicole Cabalquinto is a queer female first generation Filipinx-American, born and raised in New York City, currently residing in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
She is a multidisciplinary artist and creative technologist with 9+ years of project, production and operations management experience in a studio, manufacturing and retail setting.
Nicole has earned her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from Rutgers University, with her studies primarily focusing on photography. Inspired by architectural subjects beyond the lens, she found her love for light, structure, and illusions of materiality. She continued her education with Emerging Media Technology courses at New York City College of Technology. She is currently a graduate student at NYU Interactive Telecommunications Program, class of 2021.
Nicole has explored lighting techniques, hot glassblowing, and welding with visions of creating kinetic trompe l'œil installations. She has collaborated with fellow musicians to generate live visual sets.
